We built our first home in 2011. We did a LOT of research on efficiency and cost of different types of insulation. Our electric bill this summer was between $85 to $120. A couple winters ago we had a snow/ice storm lasting almost 2 weeks. Epiphany did the insulation on our older, existing home 3 years ago. Our combined winter months utility bill (gas + electric) went from an average of $581 per month to $294. I estimate I've saved ~$4,000 in 3 years, which comes close to having paid for the foam installation. Great guys to work with! Also, they beat the estimate from the competition.
We got quotes from 3 different companies to spray our attic. Epiphany was the only company that explained to us that to meet code we would have to add venting to our attic because there was a gas fired HVAC system in the attic. The other companies either did not know of the building requirements or didn’t bother to tell us of them. Epiphany was not the lowest priced quote we received but they got the job since they seemed to know how the job should be done. They came in and were done in one day, cleaned up after the job and the difference in the attic is amazing. Even in the heat of summer you can go into the attic storage space and not be knocked down by the heat. Even on the hottest days it is only in the 80s in the attic.
Epiphany Foam showed up on time and did everything I paid for exceptionally well. I built with 2x6 exterior walls and mounted my breaker box between the studs. Foam sealed the area behind every electrical box and sealed the breaker box completely. My house is easy to heat and has absolutely no drafts. This is a world class company that does great work.
